A dull, yet better day.

February 11, 2005 by Henry Yew

OK! Another post. Not so depressed anymore like two days ago. Feeling much better after calling a few friends and chatting with them. Man! I MUST get Streamyx soon. Sigh…the agony of a slow but unsure connection.

Well, spent my day doing Chemistry work. Must say that this year’s New Year isn’t what I expected. Few visitors, fewer conversations. It just isn’t my year. Anyway, I managed to find a few ways to entertain myself. Installed mIRC and went online. At least that cured off my depression and loneliness. Hmm…this is not me! It’s unlike of me to feel depressed and lonely, you know?

Ah, cut the crap! Now, what I need is friends. I’ll be with plenty of them once I go to school on Monday! I’m longing for that day now.

Hmmm…it’s been quite a dull day. With no visitors, the whole house is quiet. But I bless the presence of Jeremy and Nicholas Cheong in my neighbour’s house last night. They had a New Year celebration and as usual I went there and joined them. Felt happy most of the time as I know most of their family members. Watched them gambled (even Jeremy and Nicholas!), and at last their aunt asked me to join in the fun too! Well, I’m no pro gambler, so I bet only RM1 at first. Sigh, lost the first round. Never mind, continue with the 2nd round. Another RM1! It was to be their last game. Hey, I WON! I won RM6! What luck!

OK, that’s all for now. Looks like it isn’t such a gloomy day for me, thinking about the good times I had with Jun-Xiang on the first day of New Year and Jeremy and Nicholas last night! At least, tonight I could sleep easily.
